Army (Armée du Center) was a French associat ion armijnym period of the French Revolution. Army Center was est ablished by decree of King Louis XVI of 14 December 1791. Its tas k was to defend the French Champagne industry and positions the b oundary between the North and the Army, Army of the Rhine against coalition forces and anti-French. Formations centered in the Army Center for Heavy fighting took place with the Prussian and Austrian troops, and in the battle of Valmy constituted the backbone of French forces. October 1, 1792 roku Army Center was, by decree of the Convention, renamed the Army of the Moselle, and the extent of its liability was limited.
